Resumen: El Servicio de Ayuda a Domicilio (SAD) es una intervención psicosocial individualizada que pretende incrementar la autonomía del usuario (tercera edad, disminuidos, etc.,)con la finalidad de aumentar la autonomía del usuario (tercera edad, disminuidos, etc) con la finalidad de aumentar su calidad de vida. Ses pretende que el usuario desarrolle hábitos saludables que le permitan (re)insertarse en su medio social. El objetivo es determinar las tareas profesionales definitorias y genuinas de esta profesión terciaria, y asimismo cómo aquellas se ven afectadas por un conjunto de variables socio-demográficas. La muestra utilizada es de 115 usuarios del SAD que son amparados por Instituciones Públicas; también, se ha construido un cuestionario de 40 ítems. En cuanto a los resultados se obtiene que, en primer lugar, el perfil profesional del SAD se definiría a partir de tareas referentes al control y la supervisión del hogar, la atención directa al usuario y la protección de éste. En segundo lugar, estas características se combinan con un conjunto de variables psicosociales y geográficas.
Abstract: The Assistance Service to Domicile (ASD) is a individualized psychological intervention that intends to increase the autonomy of the user (third age, handicaps, and so on) in order to increase their quality of life. It is expected that the user develops healthy habits that permit him to (re)insert in its social environment. The objective is to determine the professional outstanding and genuine tasks of this terciary profession, and also to see howt they are affected by a set of social and demographic variables. A sample of 115 ASD users has been used protected by Public Institutions; in addition, a questionnaire of 40 items has been built. Concerning the results, we have obtained, firstly that the professional profile of the ASD would be defined starting from relating tasks to the control and supervision of the household, the direct attention to the user and his protection. Secondly, these characteristics are combined with a set of psychological, social and geographical variables.
